Speaking truth! Speaking truth to Power! Working for a Sustainable Southeast Queens!

A Federation of Civic Organizations

Educate, Participate, Advocate, Collaborate

EQA is a federation of civic organizations in Southeast Queens, NY, advocating for an improved quality of life for all residents within our communities and surrounding areas. We do this by reaching out to those living and working within our communities to learn about the concerns and issues they would like to see addressed and resolved and ultimately about their ideas and vision for a thriving Southeast Queens.

With the support of engaged community members, we work with relevant agencies and elected officials to advocate for that which will sustain and improve our quality of life, with a strong emphasis on achieving a true balance among the three prongs of sustainability– social, economic, and environmental health.

Together, we are: Speaking truth! Speaking truth to power! Working for a sustainable Southeast Queens!
